Hello everyone. I am Akram, a 4th year student in the CDSL laboratory. I have a lot of hobbies but blogging isn’t one of them. But, I will still try on this entry.
As we all know, it feels quite warmer in japan now. In comparison to a little over a month ago, it was snowing in Hachioji! As someone who did not experience any other season besides summer and monsoon at Malaysia for around 19 years, the cold seasons in japan was very pleasant. I like the feeling of being clean 24/7, cold dry weather and the crisp air.
However, it is now spring, and in a few months, it will become summer. Even though I don’t really like summer, my girlfriend likes it. so I’ll eventually end up liking it too because I like her. Sorry for the sudden TMI btw. The past few days have been very windy, the harsh air slapping my face as I ride my bicycle. This season reminds me of when I first arrived in japan, clueless and full of hope.
Therefore, personally, I think of spring as a season of hope. As the days get sunnier and warmer, as the flowers bloom with grace, and as the gentle spring breeze blows your hair, welcoming summer, I hope we all retain our reason to live, our reason to fight the adversities we face each day.
with hope and love, akram.
